Performances: Working with two to fourteen musicians, La Donna performs music from the Renaissance to the Twenty-First century.

Lectures: The Director, Laury Gutiérrez, is also available to present overviews of women composers’ music, historical performance, and Renaissance and Baroque performance practice.
Example: Feminine Allure. A multimedia presentation of women composers from the 1600s to the 1760s. The presentation places the most important women composers in the context of their male counterparts and musical period. Why did some women compose? Why are there so few? Is their music relevant now?

Educational/Outreach, Lecture/Demonstrations Master Classes and Workshops: La Donna Musicale is available to present introductions to the instruments and the period, as well as hands-on demonstrations to educate young people about aspects of 17th- and 18th-century musical culture. These events provide a unique opportunity for raising public awareness about historical and contemporary women composers as well as providing positive role models.
